Emily Wolfe and the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office

In July, Emily Wolfe, from the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office, contacted WSU Women's Studies, looking for volunteers to catalog 10,000 rape kits that were discovered by the Detroit Police Department. Volunteers worked under the supervision of lawyers from the Sexual Assault Team. Director of Recruiting & Training, Emily Wolfe and members of her team will talk about the various ways in which the Prosecutor's Office deals with violence against women. This is a great opportunity to learn about what the office does in the area of violence against women, as well as career opportunities in women's studies and criminal justice.
